The full ride report will be posted on Sunday evening. I loaded up Kent and my boys and headed to Gainesville, FL for the Battle of Olustee Ride on Sunday…..115 miler that kicks off Florida’s racing season. Here’s the important stuff:
Today’s Sprint Winner: Mark Thompson
The Podium Boys for the GC: Mark Thompson, Selby Holler and Ray Fararo
Today’s Highlights:
1. Jeff Haire’s 25 miler on his bike.
2. Trey Griffin falling over sideways at the stop sign in Leesburg.
3. Michele Moulton getting blown off the road by the wind.
4. Selby’s bagel.
5. Gage’s save on Highway 280.
6. Ryan Couture’s attack on Mossy Dell… the one that he held to the finish of the attack zone.
7. Bill Riddle’s two pulls that helped the chase groups on the attack zone and the final sprint.
